From all the games above, Apex Construct is probably the best but it also depends on preference. Paper Dolls is a great horror PSVR game is that is your thing.
Apex Construct released in 2018 and was one of the first Playstation VR games that was build for VR from the ground up. In this first-person shooter the fate of mankind rests on you as you’re the last human alive on Earth.
Apex Construct isn’t easy game, not in the beginning and not in the end. There is a path to follow but it lets you choose where to go and what to do. The game rewards exploration as at the end of each stage, as you can upgrade your character making backtracking very rewarding.
The weapon you will be using the most is is a bow which can also generate an energy shield. Something to learn and pickup early on is the timing between deploying the shield or firing an arrow. This is trickier than it seems, as there is no targeting system, so you are completely reliant on your own aiming abilities. Which with the Playstation Move controller isn’t always as accurate as you would like. This can cause for frustration in the beginning but after a while will feel like second nature.
The visuals for Apex Construct is a style between realistic and cartoony. But it never get’s childish. Is it the best game for Playstation VR? No it’s not, but for £7.99 it’s a great game for the Playstation VR which doesn’t have a ton of amazing titles.
