Great console gaming deals for week 19 in 2020

This week we got Greedfall for PS4, Gal Metal “World Tour Edition” for Switch and Jurassic World Evolution for Xbox One

Greedfall (£23.99) for PS4

The action RPG Greedfall is one of those games that get’s a lot of attention in a short amount of time and then falls off the radar. The game is set in 17th century “Europe” and lets you level up your character throughout a ~40 hour campaign.

The game got plagued with bugs when it came out but should play better about 6 months after launch. And with the Greedfall currently on sale for £23.99 at you haven’t got an excuse to try it out.

The game looks beautiful on a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X.

Gal Metal “World Tour Edition” (£9.85) for Nintendo Switch

Before writing this article I never heard of Gal Metal before, and after doing some research it sounds like a perfect game on the Nintendo Switch.

Gal Metal is a rhythmic game that uses the joy-con controllers as drum sticks. But not as you might expect with similar rhythmic games. It also has three different story lines that tie into one-another. All of this is set against a Japanese/Anime art style that looks beautiful.

To be honest, there is a LOT going on in Gal Metal, too short for a quick introduction. However, Nintendo Life did a great article on Gal Metal when it came out a couple of years ago so I’d suggest giving that a read. Or you can watch the trailer below.

Gal Metal “World Tour Edition” is £9.85 at at the moment.

Jurassic World Evolution (£18.85) for Xbox One

You can build your own dinosaur theme park. Do I need to say more?

Jurassic World Evolution didn’t really get the praise it deserved when it came out in 2018. And I honestly think that the title and relation to the 2015 movie did more damage than good.

But leave it to Frontier Developments (known for the real follow-up on Rollercoaster Tycoon: Planet Coaster) to create an amazing tycoon simulation game.

Jurassic World Evolution allows the player to construct a Jurassic World dinosaur theme park with attractions and research facilities. You start of by sending your specialist out to get DNA of certain Dinosaur species. From that point you can start you dino theme park. is selling the game for £18.85.
